Beyoncé and Jay Z who, after watching a catwalk show, headed out for dinner at exclusive restaurant L’Avenue in Paris last night.  Beyoncé, her studded leather gloves and Jay Z are now set to arrive in London later today where they’ll be fronting the London leg of the Help Haiti marathon.

JAY-Z TALKS ABOUT THE MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS

Jay-Z sat down with Interview Magazine and talked about the Kanye vs. Taylor drama that happened last September during the MTV Video Music Awards.

JAY-Z: I just think the timing of what he did was wrong, and that, of course, overshadowed everything. He believed that “Single Ladies” was a better video. I believed that. I think a lot of people believed that. You can’t give someone Video of the Year if they don’t win Best Female Video. I thought Best Female Video was something you won on the way to Video of the Year. But, hey, I guess it wasn’t—and that’s a whole other conversation about awards shows and artists.

You seem to stay away from that awards show stuff for the most part.

JAY-Z: Yeah, because it ain’t about nothing. It’s cool. It’s acknowledgment. The fans get to see you, and you can do great by your record if you have a great performance or a great night there. That’s all part of the business. But at their core, awards shows are not really a sincere thing. You know, for a lot of years, the artists had to pay to play their own set.

JAY-Z SPEAKS ON ILLUMINATI

This is a Jay-Z quote but I’m posting it because it applies to Bey as well. The “Beyoncé and Jay-Z are devil worshippers and part of the Illimunati” stuff is getting real old and tired. CLEARLY it’s not true, so I just wish people would stop trying to make something of what isn’t there. Beyoncé has credited God her whole life for her success and still does.  Thanks to our friends at Necole Bitchie.

Earlier today, Jay-z spoke with Angie Martinez of Hot 97 about claims that he is a “devil worshipper” and part of a secret society:

I don’t know where it started. I don’t know where it came from. I really think it’s really silly. For the record, I of course believe in God, but I believe in one God. If people must know my religious beliefs, I believe in one God. I don’t believe in religion. I don’t believe in Christians or Muslims. I think all that separates people. I think it’s one God. I think it’s all the same God, and I don’t believe in Hell. But as far as God, of course I believe in God. Am I a part of some sect or cult? That sounds stupid to me. It’s like ignorant to even say, and umm… I guess that’ll be the last time I address that. It’s ignorant to me

I can’t even get in a golf club in Palm Springs. I’m from Marcy Projects. Just think about that? People that control the world?

Do you believe that those sort of organizations exist?

I think there are cliques of friends that control things. I don’t if there is a devil worshipping sect. That’s a little Tom hanks. I believe there are cliques of people that control the world…but that’s just natural process. I’m sure Obama has his people and everything is good but as far as how far people are taking it…

So you don’t intentionally do this to put people in a frenzy?

I’m an entertainer at the end of the day. Maybe I’ll push your buttons but you know…

Beyonce and Jay-Z are both big recording stars in their own rights. But together, they're a financial juggernaut.

Jay-Z and Bee offer to plan Robbie Williams' wedding

Jay-Z and Beyonce are set to add wedding planning to their resume - the supercouple has offered to organize British pop star Robbie Williams' nuptials to girlfriend Ayda Field.

Williams reportedly proposed to the American actress over the holiday period - and the "Big Pimpin'" rapper is already volunteering to plan the lavish ceremony, with the help of his superstar wife.

He says, "I would be happy to help Robbie organize his wedding. I am sure he will make it an extravagant party. I had my 40th last month in the Dominican Republic. That would be a great place for Robbie's wedding. It's the most stunning place on earth. It has everything - beautiful beaches, scenery, golf courses - and is easy to fly guests to.

"The entertainment at my party was all hot and if Robbie wants my help he should come over for dinner and Bey (Beyonce) and I can help him out. She is great at organizing parties, she loves it."

And the hip-hop star insists he'll even take the stage to perform for the newlyweds: "I don't know what Robbie's entertainment plans are but, as a wedding present, I would get up after the speeches and do a little set."

Bee and Jay-Z cruisin’ in St Barth (December 31, 2009)

Never ones to hold back when it comes to living the good life, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z decided to ring in the New Year in the relaxing environment of St. Barth.

Spotted side-by-side on Thursday afternoon (December 31), the happy couple held one another as they partook in a leisurely yacht cruise around the Caribbean ahead of the New Year’s Eve parties.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z recently finished up his work on a brand new collaboration called “Light Up” with Toronto lyricist, Drake.

“Everybody is looking for this one joint with me and Jay, so that needs to happen,” Drake previously told MTV. “My goal at this point is to keep making that organic music. I don’t wanna feel pressure now that I have a single and music that’s hot.”

Now having completed the new track, Drake later told MTV, “When I heard that beat, the drums that they had come up with, it was like, ‘Man, this is a moment. This sounds like where I’m at in my life.’ So, we took it and 40 did what he does to pieces of music that I see potential in — he took it to the next spot. Jay-Z’s on it. The song is phenomenal. It’s done now.” 

Beyonce Knowles’ name change

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z are to change their names.

The couple, who married in April 2008, are to take on both of their respective surnames in order to keep the ‘Crazy In Love’ star’s parental line from dying out.

Jay-Z - whose real name is Shawn Carter - will now be known as Shawn Knowles-Carter, while Beyonce is to become Beyonce Knowles-Carter.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “They want to keep Knowles because Beyonce’s parents didn’t have any sons and they’re keen to keep the name going strong, especially if they don’t produce any children themselves.”

Earlier this week, the Knowles family suffered a blow when it was announced that Beyonce’s parents Tina and Mathew would be divorcing after 29 years of marriage.

In October, rumours surfaced that Mathew may have been unfaithful, with a paternity suit filed by Alexandra Wright claiming he was the father of her unborn child - an allegation he has denied.

However, in a statement the estranged couple - who also have a daughter, Solange - claimed that the divorce would not be “an ugly, messy fight” and they would continue working together amicably.

Beyonce & Jay-Z: Spotted At Nello’s, Again [Photo]

Beyonce and Jay-Z dined at Nello’s restaurant (again and again) on the Upper East Side where they spend $1,200 on lunch, which included a bottle of Dom Perignion champagne. To show their appreciation for the service, they leave a hefty $500 tip.
